BEDN | Reflections

Monday, November 30, 2015

Today is the last day of November, which also means that it's the final day of Blogging Every Day in November.

I made a good start with 13 days of blog posts and then this.

I'm glad to say that I'm feeling brighter. I had a few things on my mind that have settled down or have been resolved, a frustrating work project has been completed, and an event that took up a huge chunk of my time happened yesterday. Things are improving.

I've also taken some time out for myself. I've slept in when I needed to, been going to bed earlier, taken a few good long walks to clear my mind, and indulged in some long, relaxing bubble baths.

My cats now hide from me when they see me coming, just in case I'm about to hug them again.

I've made an effort to go to pilates and clubbercise to release a few endorphins, and I had a night out with Andy and my best friends to see Joe Lycett. All work and no play makes me a very unhappy being, so getting out there was very important in getting back to normal. I had to make myself go, the sofa looked so comfy, but I had a great time once I was out and about.

Thank you for your kind comments on my previous post, as always you guys made me smile and I was grateful for your support. It make a difference, it really does.

Moving forward I've got a few dates planned with Andy, a day shopping in Norwich, a trip to W&M Smiths to see the lovely Bella, and to buy wreath making supplies. We're also off to the cinema, when we can agree on what to watch. So, plenty to look forward too, and of course Christmas.

It's a shame that BEDN took a hit when this feeling reared it's ugly head, I'd been enjoying posting everyday, and discovering new blogs to read. But there's no point battling on with something if you're not feeling up to it.

I might still use some of the BEDN prompts that I missed, as I'm now ready to get back to blogging again. But first I need to catch up with my favourite blogs. I'll pop the kettle on and see you in a bit...

  1. I always say blogging should be enjoyable and you shouldn't post for the sake of it. Glad to hear that you're feeling brighter and my cats hide from me for the same reason!

  3. I'm glad to hear you're feeling brighter. Isn't it always at the most inconvenient times that feeling rubbish happens?
