I had to go 'off challenge' for a few hours today for a meeting but was back on track before the working day was done!


I had the day off work today to attend two events in London.

Firstly, a Tabio bloggers event to see the new product for the Spring Summer collection.

And secondly, a charity fashion event ‘Journeys From The Heart of Couture’ in aid of The James Can Foundation’s ‘Build A Village’ project. The project is building villages in Pakistan to help those who were affected by the 2010 floods.

Since the beginning of 2011 I have watched Ms Sublime and Lifestylers for Life work tirelessly to turn this idea into a reality.

I slipped on my never-been-worn River Island sandals, tucked my clutch bag from Shop Street Style under my arm and off I went...


… So you can imagine how gutted I was when I felt the beginnings of a bout of sinusitis on the train, by the time we pulled into Liverpool Street I was in pain and sobbing. There was nothing I could do but to return home and take to my bed.

No outfit today. I spent the day in a dark room feeling dreadful, not to mention very sorry for myself indeed. I believe this is what my Mother would call sulking.

Seriously, I had no idea that these sunglasses looked SO big!
So, there it is. I'm glad to have my wardrobe back and my eyes have well and truly been opened to how much I buy that I do not need... a lesson I hope to remember for a while to come.
