Inspiration Monday - Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson was the Inspiration for Monday's outfit. I have always admired her style. On and off the red carpet, she always manages to look stylish and relaxed, as if she has just thrown something on. It's effortless. My interpretation isn't really very similar, I was just going for 'the look'.


These photographs were taken early in the morning, it was bright and crisp, it felt wonderfully autumnal. The time for layering is certainly upon us, I don't think I've ever worn a cardy under a blazer before (I didn't have that kind of school uniform). It made me feel very 'land girls'. On days like this I wouldn't mind being out in the open air all day, but add a grey sky and drop the temperature and you'd see me back behind a desk in a flash!


Tink was having a lovely time, despite her face. When I'm out in the garden either one or both of my cats will follow me around, more than once my camera and tripod have taken a tumble after an over enthusiastic feline rub!

    You look fab honey, no inspiration was needed! I wish I could understand everything she says on the TV, so annoying she is not very clear or is it just me?

    I love this outfit, the blazer is fab and the scarf is lovely too. I used to love Rachel Bilson in The OC, but now she really has blossomed into a beautiul young woman xxx
