Photo An Hour | April '19
Friday, May 03, 2019April 27th, a day I had earmarked to tick off a number of jobs on my never-ending to-do list. My husband had other ideas...
Starting the day like so many others with a tight feeling in my chest. No medical emergency, just a cat with little regard for personal space.
8am
I got a little distracted whilst drinking my first cuppa of the day. I shouldn’t have cast on a new project as I already have three on the go.
9am
Dahlia watch and greenhouse pottering.
10am
I’ve been put to work, but it does mean I get to spend the day with the husband.
11am
Rain stopped play. You can’t paint an exterior wall if it’s raining. Thanks Storm Hannah, I can go back to my knitting.
12pm
Finished one body, starting another from wool scraps. There's something immensely satisfying about using up lots of left over bits and pieces of wool.
1pm
A very rare treat for the workers. We don't often give in to the temptation but neither of us could be bothered to make any lunch.
2pm
Work continues. It’s flipping’ cold.
3pm
Tea break.
4pm
And another tea break because we’re done for the day. It’s cold and windy as all get up outside, glad to be back in the warm.
5pm
Wrapping (not to be confused with rapping, I’m not very good at that). At least this was one thing that was ticked off my to-do list today!
I didn't take any photos after this. We were eating at 6pm and spent the rest of the evening on the sofa, draped in various cats, watching The West Wing on DVD. We are creatures of habit.
I hope you had a lovely weekend. Thanks to Jane and Louisa for hosting #PhotoAnHour.

Cats, knitting, and spending the day with your husband, even if it means you've got to work: sounds OK by me! Your photo of the rapeseed field is stunning! xxx
ReplyDeleteIt was really nice day, a nice mix of activities. The rapeseed field is one of my favourite views here
