Shopping my wardrobe...
Friday, October 28, 2011I've been shopping and when I was done, I shopped a little more.
So, as a mini challenge I'm going to see if I can shop my wardrobe for the next few months and allow my bank balance to recover in time for the festive season.
Here's my splurge...
H&M - black jumper, grey dress, cream zip t-shirt, grey cable tights
Stylist Pick - Diva ballet pumps
Dorothy Perkins - black boots
Custard Designs - Owen Barry shoulder bag
Zara - black skirt, jeans and cream denim bag
Cherry and Joy - sapphire stud bracelet
Very - tan riding boots
Following one of my rules I'm going to style each piece in three different ways to prove that each item deserves a place in my wardrobe (and ease my post shopping guilt in the process!).
Watch this space...
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Good luck on your mini challenge! looks like you've got some great pieces to work with. I'm doing a shopping ban right now as well. Until I wear everything new or unworn in my closet no new clothing purchased.
ReplyDelete@Anjali Mohlajee I've just finished a challenge to wear everything in my wardrobe (it didn't stop me spending though as you can see!) Good luck with your challenge :)

ReplyDeleteOoh you've got some lovely new things :)
ReplyDeleteI've been shopping far too much recently - I think I may need to be inspired by you & give my wallet a rest for a while (particularly with Christmas on the way!)

Wow! What a great day out. I think that takes 'retail therapy' to a whole new level. Just love the boots.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great challenge. I am so guilty of not utilising the clothes I have enough - I just wear my most recent purchases over and over, I really need to try something like this!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing how you get on.
Amazing selection!
ReplyDeleteStyling each item three different ways is such a good personal challenge to see if you made the purchase. That is a good rule to implement when shopping and girl did you go shopping! I think you did good though.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Bre
A great selection to mix and match! I've just bought similar animal print shoes and just keep wearing them!
