After a few busy weeks I should have seen it coming. I slowed down, started to relax a little and then I became ill. I got a cold, swiftly followed by a bout of sinusitis. It happens every. single. time.
So, three days off work, plenty of relaxing and lots of sleep and I'm feeling much better. Well, I say I relaxed but I didn't, not really, I never do. I always feel that there is something I could be doing, no matter how grotty I feel. So I pottered about doing this and that, emptying bins, sorting through mail, hacking back rampant pumpkin plants (yes, really). I know I'm not the only one to do this when I'm ill (not taking it easy rather than the pumpkin thing). I bet you do it too, don't you? Why can't we just sit still and do nothing?
Anyway here is my outfit for Inspiration Monday. I think that the Two Birds are responsible for most of the wear that these jeans get. They're often selected for Inspiration Monday (see here, here and here).
I love Olivia's use of colour but emerald blazers and yellow jeans aren't really my thing so I went for a more muted version.
It has become apparent to me that taking outfit shots outside is about to become more difficult. Whilst I was still in need of sunglasses the wind and humidity did strange things to my hair. This was the only photo of approximately 30 photographs where I look remotely normal.
